It is a human right and a founding principle of our Constitution, that everyone has a right to due process. Each of us has the right to liberty and justice. Yet the current administration is deporting good solid tax paying immigrants. In some cases, people that haven’t committed any crimes are whisked off to extreme prisons without recourse or legal help. Forcing refugees to return to their country where they face grave risk to themselves and to their families. The government is deporting people that, in a few cases are US citizens, some without criminal records, others at teribble peril, separating mothers, fathers, children, and babies. This policy is not a policy that we should allow to exist – we need a humane and God caring way to address migration.
